Extended Sax

After the Ed Banger tour taunted us with its outrageous sax sample, the full version of Patrick122 by Mr.Oizo has finally surfaced. As if the sample itself wasn't enough, the rest of the track can easily stand on its own - still be hella-dance enough to force the most straight-faced indie wallhuggers to get to the floor(not to mention the short lived Kavinsky-esque miami synth lines). Enjoy.

Castle Vania Mania

Our A-Town boy DJ Dylan's project Le Castle Vania has been making its way around the blog-o-sphere, as of late. In between launching his new website and being named in URB Magazine's Next 100 list - among other industry fat cats Teki Latex and Para One - he's slated a small UK tour including the likes of vocorded crooners Chromeo and Ed Banger resident Vicarious Bliss. For a taste of what's to come from the Le Castle Vania camp, here are two versions of his 120 Days remix released on Vice Records.

HOSTAGE

Scottish banger HOSTAGE starts us off with a fearless Rex The Dog-esque track titled "Pride." I first heard of Alan Parley, aka Hostage, through Discodust about a month ago, when I downloaded the relentless, noisy banger: "Gluttony." With "Pride," we see the versatility of Parsley's work, as he gives us a bouncy, electro-pop tune that screams Korg tones for over 4mins.
